Funeral services were Wednesday, Jun. 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Marvin Bries.

Emma was born on April 21, 2001, in Guttenberg, the daughter of Loren Hefel and Mary L. Ludovissy.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother and father; sisters, Danielle (Jason) Sadewasser and Amanda (John) Ehde; paternal grandparents, Emmett and Darlene Hefel; uncles, Brian, Joe, Kim and Jim; aunts, Ellen, Joy and Linda; nephews, Ethan and Kadeos; nieces, Natalia and Holland; an abundance of cousins and countless friends; her dog Riley Rose and anybody else whose life she touched if only for a brief moment.

Emma was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mary Jo Reicks.

In lieu of flowers and all styles of sympathy, a memorial has been established in Emma’s name. All memorials may be sent in Emma’s honor to P.O. Box 142, Guttenberg, IA 52052
