Hoffman Hall will host its annual Winter Craft and Gift Fair Saturday, Nov. 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will be the ninth annual event showcasing a large variety of both handmade gifts and crafts as well as home-based businesses. Admission is free.

Local vendors, as well as those from far and wide, will have their creations and trendy products available for sale to shoppers. Merchandise will include quilting, wood crafts, Christmas crafts, home decor, books, cards, candy, nuts, jewelry, purses, ceramics, baby items and more. Independent consultants represented will be selling LulaRoe, Scentsy, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Norwex, Thirty-One, etc.

The rec center will be overflowing with two levels of wares exhibited by up to 61 different vendors. Vendors come from as far as Gays Mills, West Salem, Cottage Grove, Cochran, Dyersville (Iowa) and Monona (Iowa) to sell their crafts and gift items, according to coordinator Kathy Buenzli. There is still limited vendor space available and those interested should contact Buenzli at (608) 412-1445 before Friday, Nov. 10.

During the craft and gift fair, shoppers can enjoy live, easy listening music and concessions. There will also be door prizes drawn for those who sign up. The Prairie du Chien Jaycees will have a drop box on site for their annual Hat, Mitten and Coat Drive, so visitors are encouraged to bring items for that as well.

“This is a good time to start your holiday shopping,” Buenzli said.

“From kids to seniors, men and women, there’s something for everyone,” added Suzette Cunningham, city recreation supervisor.

Sponsored by the Prairie du Chien Parks and Recreation Department, the craft and gift fair is a fundraiser for Hoffman Hall improvements.
