Let the McGregor-Marquette Chamber of Commerce’s 16th annual Progressive Dinner be your “valentine delight.” Held from 4 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 10, the Saturday before Valentine’s Day, the Progressive Dinner will feature food and fun from several of the chamber member cafés, in addition to bed and breakfast establishments.

The menu will include hors d’oeuvres served at The Corner Shoppe, in Garnavillo. Roasted red pepper with gnocchi soup from By the Spoonful will be offered at Old Man River, in McGregor. Little Switzerland Inn, in McGregor, will host the salad portion of the meal, featuring spring greens with fruit. The main course—stuffed pork chop with apple and coleslaw, or beef or shrimp kabob—will be served at McGregor’s Stauer House Bed and Breakfast. It will be back to Old Man River for dessert, where couples can enjoy “heart delights” from The Local Oven.

This year, a new addition to the evening is live music at the appetizer venue, The Corner Shoppe.

“We hope you decide to join us. Good food, good conversation and great fun are a guarantee,” said Kristie Austin, executive director of the McGregor-Marquette Chamber of Commerce.

Reservations are limited, so purchase your tickets now by contacting the McGregor-Marquette Chamber at (563) 873-2186 or (800) 896-0910.
