Seneca girls defeat La Farge

 Seneca hosted La Farge in conference softball action on April 18.  

Seneca started strong, scoring two runs in the bottom of the first with Savanna Wallin getting on with a triple to right and Anya Aspenson getting on with a walk. Wallin would score on a passed ball and Aspenson would score on a single to left by Liv Swanson.  

The bottom of the second was started with Taylor Sime getting on base with an infield hit and errors. She would advance on a double to left by Aspenson and score with Aspenson on a double to left by Swanson. Swanson would get to third and score on passed balls.

Nicky Trautsch scored the lone run of the third by getting on with a single to left, getting second and third on passed balls and scoring on a sacrifice by Helen Clark.  

The bottom of the fourth scored another run for Seneca with Wallin getting on with a walk, stealing second and getting third on a passed ball. Wallin would score on a sacrifice hit by Aspenson.  

In the bottom of the fifth, Clark got on with a walk, and got second and third on passed balls. Taylor Sime would then get on with walk and Clark and Sime would both score on a home run by Savanna Wallin to end the game after 5 innings with a score of Seneca-10, La Farge-0.
